Rio 2016: Mayor bestows Australia’s Olympic delegation with the Key to the City
1 pm – Mayor Eduardo Paes will do the symbolic delivering City’s Key to the Australian 2016 Olympic delegation representatives, in the Athlete’s Village.
Place: Salvador Allende Avenue. 3.200 – Barra da Tijuca (Vila dos Atletas) – Zona Internacional.

Rio 2016: The mayor alongside IOC’s president Thomas Bach will visit Orla Conde, place that will hold the Olympic Pyre.
2:30 pm – Mayor Eduardo Paes, accompanied by the (IOC) International Olympic Committee’s president Thomas Bach, will visit the future holding place of the Olympic Pyre, at Orla Conde. This major symbol of Rio’s 2016 Olympic Games, will be assembled at Esplanada da Candelária and face Baía de Guanabara, one of the City Center’s recently gentrified zones. The area is the last part of the public promenade to be officially concluded, and its 3.5 km encompass Armazém 8 and Museu Histórico Nacional (National History Museum).
