Leading Obstacle Race Pushes Global Borders
MIAMI, October 1, 2016 — Spartan Race, in partnership with Miami-based MultiRace, is about to prove that there are no borders when it comes to sports. On March 18, 2017 they will blaze new ground in an unprecedented launch of a Spartan Race in La Habana, Cuba—making it the first-ever endurance obstacle race in Cuba since the re-establishment of relations with the U.S.
This inaugural Reebok Spartan Race in Cuba will offer racers from around the globe a unique opportunity to test their limits in one of the world’s most iconic locales. The exclusive Cuban event, which will be limited to only 1,000 participants, includes an extraordinary package deal. Early registrants will receive a travel visa, ground transportation, entry to a special cultural celebration, and, of course, the opportunity to make Spartan history on the first Cuban race course.
