World Cup 2018: Russia and Croatia win the games

The World Cup 2018 is getting closer to the end. On Sunday July 1st Russia and Croatia won the games that gave them the key to keep fighting to win the World Cup. However, the games were not easy.
Russia played against Spain, and they finished the game 1 -1 which brought them to penalties where Russia sent Spain home after 30 extra minutes of game. Akinfeev was the hero of the team since he stopped two of the goals Spain tried to make at the end.

On the other hand. Croatia beat Denmark on penalties after a tied game of a score 1 -1. During the penalties the result was 3-2.

Brasil advanced to the next round by beating Serbia 2-0 socres by Paulinho 36th min and Thiago Silva in the 68th min now advancing to the knockout round of 16. even though Mexico lost 3-0 they advance to the next round with the stunning loss of Germany to South korea 2-0. the next round is Group A Uruguay and Russia, Group B Spain and Portugal, Group C France and Denmark, Group D Croatia and Argentina, Group E Brazil and Switzerland, Group F Sweden and Mexico with Group G England and Belguim in position to move on.
