The 2021 Nathan’s Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest

This July 4th weekend at Nathan’s Annual Hot Dog Eating completion Joey Chestnut broke his own world record yet again to become the 2021 Nathan’s Famous International Hot Dog Eating Contest champion,  consuming 76 hot dogs and buns in10 minutes, beating last years record of 75.

On the women’s side, Tucson native  Michelle Lesco won the women’s title consuming 30 3/4 in 10 mins, saying that winning was such an amazing feeling.

Last year, woman’s Champion Miki Subo had to sit out this year because she is due to have her baby in about two months. The competition took place in a new location this year Maimonides Park, located next to Luna Park.

2018 New York Times Travel Show Reports Highest Ever Attendance During 15th Anniversary Year

NEW YORK, Feb. 13, 2018 –The New York Times has announced that its annual Travel Show reached a new record of 32,398 participants—the highest attendance in the Show’s history. Attendance included 10,268 travel trade and 22,130 consumer attendees during the three-day event that took place from Jan. 26-28, 2018 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. 2018’s show marked the 15th anniversary of The New York Times Travel Show, the largest travel industry show in North America. Turkish Airlines was this year’s Presenting Sponsor.
