The 62nd annual New York Emmy Awards Gala was held last Saturday may 4th at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. A ceremony that celebrates the best work in TV.
We are very proud because our CEO and founder of En La Escena Anthony Austin won an Emmy for his wonderful role as a cameraperson in the project Blueprint: NYC -Coney Island. His team won the top prize in the Nostalgia Category. The project is half hour episode that explores the iconic part of the Brooklyn coastline dubbed the birthplace of American leisure by some historias, and how Coney Island was transformed into one the earliest great amusement parks.
This is the second Emmy award for Blueprint:NYC, a documentary series exploring some of NYC’s most well-known architecture and institutions. But this is the first emmy of Anthony who has been working for the station NYC Life which is part of the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment.
For En La Escena team is an honor to celebrate this triumph in his life in a night that he and all the people who has seen his love for what he does will never forget.
Congratulations to Anthony and all of his team!!!
