On Sunday, August 12th, New Yorkers and the Latino community celebrated the 36th edition of the Dominican Day Parade in Manhattan. The parade went from 35th street to 52nd street along 6th avenue. This year’s theme was  “Our Youth, Our Future” and it was lead by the bachata singer Prince Royce whom is one of the most important representations of the Caribbean island. Also, Gov Cuomo and Mayor DiBlasio were part of the parade along with other political figures such as NYPD, FDNY,DSNY and traditional Dominican characters.
